Kristine N. Dade

Kristine wishes she were somewhere she could see the stars at night. From Montreal, she currently studies creative writing at Concordia University. She is an avid astrologer, and a puzzle lover. When she isn’t lost in a book or in her own stories, she is strolling through a national park, or feasting with friends. In either case, she has a camera in hand.

"Two Pretty Gurls Cross Paths By The Pond"

“Two Pretty Gurls Cross Paths By the Pond'' is a prose-poem in which a confident, self-assured speaker encounters someone who is the complete opposite. This piece explores self-concepts at both ends of the spectrum, and how they respond to each other.

Bound

“Bound” is a calligram with a speaker full of wonder. The piece works to encapsulate theparadox of joy and hopelessness.
