This April, we're thrilled to present a vibrant series of events in celebration of National Poetry Month. Whether you're a seasoned writer, a curious newcomer, or someone who simply loves poetry, there's something for everyone in our April events lineup!

We kick things off on April 9th with a hands-on blackout poetry workshop. In this workshop, you'll learn the art of erasure: using found text to uncover the poem hidden within.

On April 10th, join us for a rapid-fire writing poetry workshop where you'll engage with writing prompts, and learn how to write on the fly!

Itching for more poetry over the weekend? On Sunday April 13th, you can celebrate the newest issue of Petal Projections with performances from contributors and an open mic! Reserve your copy with a ticket bundle and join the literary fun.

Have a piece in need of an edit? Join us on April 16th for an editing workshop where you'll learn the art of reclaiming your poetic diamonds and rescuing your rough drafts.

What better way to close off our month of poetic celebrations than a reading? Join us on April 17th for an unforgettable evening of poetry, sponsored by the League of Canadian Poets, this performance series showcases powerful live readings from Mehnaz Lamia, Alyssa Johnson, and Elliot Black.
