A SEASON IN PRINT
The newest titles from Siren’s Muse
This season, we explored blues, appetite, growth, and everything in between. From our latest issue of Petal Projections to an open prompt collection, and a brand-new food and art journal, each release reflects the way we move through sensations. These are our first pages of the year, and we're so excited to share them with you.

What are you thinking about as you read this? Are you in a bookstore? A gift shop? Did you just get fired? Promoted? Are you thinking about your ex? Your rent? What to make for dinner? That email you still haven’t sent? Are you looking for a sign? Are you thinking, how did they know? Anonymous responses to the open prompt “What are you thinking about as you read this?” were compiled by NEVAN HINKS. She found most people wrote about sadness—about feeling stuck, or lost. MOST PEOPLE FEEL BLUE ABOUT SOMETHINGThe words inside come from strangers. All names, dates, times, locations, ages, and any other identifying details have been redacted. Not just for anonymity, but to dissolve the borders between individuality and shared experience.

It highlights the voices of underrepresented communities and challenges narratives of food shame, celebrating the beauty and complexity of cultural cuisines.
Each zine is thoughtfully curated, blending heartfelt writing with stunning illustrations and photography. The stories invite readers to reflect on their own food memories, sparking connections across borders and experiences.
